Being on this listserv has helped me immensely. There are times when I don't read more than a few posts (too busy/will never apply to me/etc) but in terms of getting specific answers and getting a range of "this is how we do it here", this is a fabulous learning resource. Even when the topic is not something that is 'hot' for me at the moment--it's a learning opportunity. And it is especially helpful for those folks who may not have the budget or the time (young children, other commitments) to travel or attend workshops.

I will also say the ABSA Biosafety listserv is a great resource for those safety folks who wear a couple of hats. And if anyone is wearing the CHO/RSO hat and wants to join a fantastic listserv, please contact me so I can 'introduce' you.
best wishes to a great bunch of people, and Ralph, thank you for being listserv moderator/life-force

In reviewing the questions that have already been submitted for today's webinar, I noticed one that asks for suggestions for mid-career chemistry professionals to learn more about technical and/or regulatory aspects of chemical health and safety. This is a common question when we conduct an ACS webinar and I thought I would ask for suggestions from DCHAS-L as to what you have found to be the most valuable resources in this regard.

I don't know if we'll be able to develop a complete answer to this before today's webinar, but we will have the opportunity to follow up with registered attendees, so I'd appreciate any suggestions that you have on this topic.

Thanks for any help with this.
