Note also the anonymous, undated report of a hand sanitizer fire upon use. I believe that this concern could be included in Covid 19 training.

New Dates: 2020 AIChE Spring Meeting & 16th GCPS
Dear Beacon Readers,
The COVID-19 pandemic is continuing to impact our private and professional lives. Please remain vigilant and advise your family, friends, acquaintances, and colleagues to do the same. Make them aware that alcohol-based sanitizers are flammable substances and should be treated with respect! When such liquids or gels are exposed to heat, they could rupture their containers, and when used, the alcohols produce flammable vapors. Improper handling is a fire risk. Here's an article for your reference, .

Stay safe and healthy!

Sincerely,
Beacon Team
