Agreed.å We were cognizant of this as we were preparing the
booklet.å I am more concerned that in the photo on page 4, the cap
is on the vol flask that the student is pouring!å

Not all lab situations require the use of gloves. One of my pet peeves. Unfortunately, I don't know of any generic Powerpoint files built specifically for this purpose. I developed a couple of these presentations on two different campuses and the contents were tailored to aspects of the labs that needed to be highlighted for the labs those departments were doing. However, the ACS document "Safety in the Academic Chemistry Labs" (available at https://tinyurl.com/acssacl ) was revised last year and contains the information appropriate for this setting. It could be an interesting CHAS project to develop a Powerpoint that encompasses this content to provide a starting point for people in situations that you describe. Let me know if you have any questions about this. - Ralph Ralph Stuart, CIH, CCHO Environmental Safety Manager Keene State College 603 358-2859 ralph.stuart**At_Symbol_Here**keene.edu --- For more information about the DCHAS-L e-mail list, contact the Divisional membership chair at membership**At_Symbol_Here**dchas.org Follow us on Twitter **At_Symbol_Here**acsdchas --- This email has been checked for viruses by Avast antivirus software. https://www.avast.com/antivirus --- For more information about the DCHAS-L e-mail list, contact the Divisional membership chair at membership**At_Symbol_Here**dchas.org Follow us on Twitter **At_Symbol_Here**acsdchas --- For more information about the DCHAS-L e-mail list, contact the Divisional membership chair at membership**At_Symbol_Here**dchas.org Follow us on Twitter **At_Symbol_Here**acsdchas
