Subject: EPA Accepting Public Comments on Candidates for the Augmented Science Advisory Committee on Chemicals (SACC) After further consideration of the objectives and scope of SACC activities, EPA is considering additional candidates for SACC membership from the August 26, 2016 Federal Register notice pool of requested nominees. Read the Federal Register notice requesting comments on these potential candidates. We will also be considering comments that were received on the original 29 candidates previously identified in the December 9, 2016 Federal Register notice. The Agency anticipates selecting approximately six additional SACC members with specific expertise and perspectives representing industry, labor, animal protection, government, public health, and public interest groups. Comments received will be posted publically on www.regulations.gov (EPA-HQ-OPPT-2016-0713).
