I didn't say it couldn't be done. Didn't say it could either. There probably are some cases in which it might not work and all of those potential problems need to be considered. For example, if the dog senses ketones as the metabolic trigger for a brittle diabetic, it is likely to be a problem if acetone or MEK are being used in the lab. Duh.
