We use Cispro, but I also looked at Vertere when I was looking for chemical inventory systems. We chose Cispro since it was already in use within Cargill,
but I was impressed with Vertere. I had the opportunity to see it used outside of a demo from the vendor at a local college, and had I had my choice, I would have gone with Vertere (but getting new software approved here can be an uphill battle at best).
That being said, Cispro has worked just fine for us. I don’t use it to track equipment, though.

I used Vertere inventory system and 6-7 years ago this was only one database which could deal with chemicals and equipment.
We managed about 60 thousands containers and about 20 thousands pieces of equipment and we were able to update whole inventory in two months using two summer students.

To All:
I have been given the task of finding a new chemical inventory system for our building. Can you recommend a user friendly inventory system
that will facilitate keeping accurate track of our chemical AND equipment stock? Any guidance will be welcome!
