Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a hazardous materials call on a DART bus Thursday after multiple passengers became ill after something was sprayed on board.
The bus driver stopped and evacuated the bus near Harry Hines Boulevard and Lofland Street.
At about 2:20 p.m., DART tweeted that a passenger used too much perfume.
It is not yet known how many people were on the bus at the time or how many were affected by the perfume.

Improving graduate education in chemistry
Earlier this week, the American Chemical Society released a report on "Advancing Graduate Education in the Chemical Sciences." ...
One of the five report conclusions was:
Academic chemical laboratories must adopt best safety practices. Such practices have led to a remarkably good record of safety in the chemical industry and should be leveraged.
The commission could easily have folded safety under another conclusion: "Current educational opportunities for graduate studentsÉdo not provide sufficient preparation for their careers after graduate school." Clearly the commission members felt strongly that laboratory safety needed to be called out as a separate point.

BARRE DEALS WITH MAJOR UNDERGROUND GASOLINE LEAK

After three weeks off chasing mystery odors in residential homes in Barre's north end, city fire officials have located the source of the smell. They say a significant underground leak at a gasoline station off North Main Street is to blame.
"It is a lot of gasoline, there's no question," said David Simendiger, who owns North End Deli Mart.
Simendinger told officials Tuesday he was missing roughly 3,000 gallons of gasoline. He says that's the worst-case scenario and explains the leak was caused by a mechanical failure in the gasoline pump. A metal fitting blew off the dispenser for super unleaded, and since that grade of gasoline is not his top seller, the problem went undetected for a few weeks.
"I want to apologize to anybody who has been impacted by this. We're truly sorry for this incident," Simendinger said.

POWAY, Calif. - Hazmat crews on Wednesday responded to a storage facility in Poway after bottles of an unknown substance were found in a storage pod.
The incident was reported at about 3:50 p.m. at the facility in the 12000 block of Crosthwaite Circle.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, someone cleaning out a storage pod reported a chemical smell. Inside the pod, deputies discovered bottles of an unknown substance inside and called for Hazmat crews.
Crews arrived and were investigating multiple bottles labeled "carcinogens" in the storage pod.
They remained on scene until about 7 p.m. It is unknown if the bottles were removed or disposed of.
The Department of Environmental Health was also on scene for a notice of violation.
