Dear Margaret, I wrote chapters on design of gross anatomy laboratories and morgues for a book I co-authored, Guidelines for Laboratory Design: Health and Safety Considerations, 3rd Edition, by DiBerardinis, Baum, First, Gatwood, and Seth. The 4th edition with more, updated information is going to press at the end of this month and should be available from the publisher, John A. Wiley, next May.
Greetings all,
I am trying to figure out how big an anatomy and physiology lab needs to be. Do you think I could use the fire code classroom occupancy load of 20 net per person or would you use shop and vocational room area of 50 net per person. Is there a resource for this? Does anyone know if there is a student limit for these types of classes.
Thanks,
Margaret Smallbrock
