Job Description:

Fuss & O’Neill EnviroScience, LLC has an immediate opening for a Certified Industrial Hygienist to serve as a technica l and project lead on various health & safety projects including chemical management / MSDS management; Indoor Air Quality; and general industrial He alth & Safety topics. 

This position will be based in Manchester, CT, but will require travel to client sites throughout the state of Connecticut. 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Plan, direct and coordinate activities related to multiple projects includin g scope, budgets and timelines
  • Partic ipate in marketing and related efforts to obtain new business through develo ping and making presentations to clients and potential clients and writing business proposals.
  • Manage and mentor Environmental Technicians
  • Provid e excellent client service and client nurturing to help develop follow o n work and referrals
  • Perfor m routine and advanced Industrial Hygiene functions

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, Biology, Environmental / Eart h Science or closely related field.
  • Certif ied Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification REQUIRED
  • Typica lly requires 5-10 years of relevant experience
  • Curren t Lead Designer, Lead Inspector/Risk Assessor Licenses preferred
  • Curren t Asbestos Designer and Asbestos Inspector licenses preferred
