Most homes already contain many hazardous chemicals: Oven cleaner, drain cleaner, bleach, ammonia solution, pesticides, gasoline, lead (solder or paint), propane, natural gas, alcohols, paints, and who knows what else. I can't believe your insurance company is going to get excited over small amounts dilute solutions of mildly hazardous chemicals when I have a car with 20 gallons of highly flammable hydrocarbons in my garage. How many of us had chemistry sets when we were young? Our local solid waste district will take small amounts of hazardous waste from home owners for free. Ray Mainer
