FYI to all:
They work quite well. I continue to be pleased with their
performance in our academic chemistry laboratories.
I summarized our departmental mercury thermometer replacement history
in a paper that was published in the Journal of Chemical Education
in February 2005.
Please contact me to request a reprint or if you wish to further
discuss this issue.
Best regards,
Barbara

these thermometers from VWR work? Also, how do they hold up in
use? Does the "Non-hazardous, non-toxic, biodegradable liquid"
separate in the column? Thanks in advance, Sammye
