DCHAS Speakers Available

The Division of Chemical Health and Safety (DCHAS) of the American
Chemical Society (ACS) has created the DCHAS Speakers Bureau. The
goal of the DCHAS Speakers Bureau is to enhance public awareness of
chemical health & safety by providing professional, qualified
speakers for presentations on CH&S topics of interest to the
scientific community.

Organizations interested in having presentations by DCHAS speakers to
request information about topics and speakers are invited to review
the summary of topics and speakers, available here in Word format.
For more information, contact the committee chair, Jim Kaufman at
jimkaufman**At_Symbol_Here**labsafety.org.

In addition, the Speakers Bureau Committee invites DCHAS members
interested in participating as speakers to contact the committee
chair for application materials and additional information.
Applications to participate in the program are available in Word
format here.

The Speakers Bureau is made possible in part by an Innovative Project
Fund Grant for Divisional Enhancement. The grant is provided by from
the ACS Council Committee on Divisional Activities. Funds from the
grant will help support speaker travel expenses and Speakers Bureau
operating expenses. The DCHAS Speakers Bureau Committee currently has
three members: Robert Hill, Russ Phifer, and Jim Kaufman (Chair).
