Hello Everyone,
Only 13 more days till Spring!
That being the case, let me ask about Spring Cleaning for chemical fume hoods and energy savings.
Would anyone have data on energy saving for cleaning exhaust ducts and, importantly, cleaning behind the hood baffles?
Does anyone have data on the cost of cleaning behind the fume hood baffles?
One
energy report from NADCA claims duct cleaning alone, not including the
air handler or coils, improved CFM in a residential setting by 6.9%. And
the same report claims a 54% CFM improvement for commercial
environments.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. And thanks for your time,
Mary Ellen
