Patricia,

If you have unused chemical cartridges that have been in your inventory past their "use by" or expiration date, it is best you contact the respirator cartridge manufacturer for proper disposal.  In your case, it would be Honeywell Safety Products:

Make sure you reference that you have the Honeywell N (for North) 75SCP100L Multi-Contaminant Cartridge P100 Filter.

Also, it would be worth your while to ask them as to what procedures and/or protocols you must use to discard used Honeywell N Series Chemical Cartridges.

Please note that each respirator cartridge manufacturer may have different procedures and/or protocols for disposal, i.e., what Honeywell Safety Products tells you may be different from what 3M or MSA tells you.

Hello,

We are replacing our inventory of respirator cartridges. How can I get rid of the outdated cartridges. They are Honeywell 75SCP100L (CL/HC/SD/CD/HF/OV/HS/AM/FM/MA/P100). Do these have to be disposed of as hazardous waste?
