Hi,

In addition to the PDF version of the Safety Chapter (1.3) from the Guide being available in the Author Guidelines for ACS journals, the chapter on Open Access (1.5) and the ACS Style Quick Guide from the References Chapter (4.3.3) are also openly accessible.

Safety Chapter: https://pubsapp.acs.org/paragonplus/submission/ACS_Guide_to_Scholarly_Communication_1.3_Communicating_Safety_Information.pdf
Open Access Chapter: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.1021/acsguide.10501
ACS Style Quick Guide: https://pubs.acs.org/doi/full/10.1021/acsguide.40303

Because content is being added/updated twice a year, a sustainable flow of revenue was needed to sustain the development and maintenance of the ACS Guide to Scholarly Communication. Efforts were made to price the Guide so that it was affordable so that it could be available widely. There is tiered pricing for institutions and a personal subscription is available to ACS Members - https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/membership/member-benefits.html

Best regards,

GB

Thank you, again, Ralph. This is a step in the right direction. Now if we can only get the rest of the Guide out there for the education of the masse the world will be a better place. :) j
