Thanks to funding from the American Chemical Society‰??s Committee on Chemical Safety, I am pleased to announce that another short (3 minute) video related to chemical safety in the research setting is available at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b1h_yj3zf20

This video discusses the importance of sharing research risk assessment and safety lessons learned with the rest of the chemistry community and important safety and information management tools that enable this sharing as part of the publication process.

We have also included a list of key references related to this topic at
https://dchas.org/2021/06/02/quality-data-for-safer-experiments-2/
as well as a poster that Leah McEwen and I recently presented at the Univ of California‰??s Center for Lab Safety‰??s workshop on this topic as part of this web page. If you know of a reference that is missing from this list, please let us know.

Our thanks to the ACS CCS for its ongoing support of communication around lab safety!

Let me know if you have any questions about this.

- Ralph
