What are the credentials needed to apply? Not just transcripts from courses taken in chemical safety or similar topics.
Seems to me the person should have worked in a laboratory and gotten his/her hands dirty with those nasty chemicals and equipment.
So many younger folks in the lab regulatory environment had had little or no experience in laboratory practice. All theory and no experience.
The Venerable [Says I] Kipp Barksdale, PhD.
He who has written procedures describing processes that have blown up because the person conducting the procedure had not been trained.
PS. At age almost 80 I'm probably too aged to apply for the position.
Drat.
