Our biology department is cleaning out biological samples that have accumulated over about 20 years. Over the years, various non-formaldehyde based preservatives have slopped out of the containers into the cooler where they were stored, leaving a gummy residue behind on the floor of the cooler. I wonder if anyone has a found an effective way of removing this coating from the interior of the cooler?
Thanks for any advice about this.
