That is correct - ACS has decoupled division membership from Journal subscription. The fee for CHAS division membership has decreased significantly to reflect the change.
Best,
Robin

Subject: Re: [DCHAS-L] ACS Chemical Health & Safety: Read the highlighted safety work
Since ACS took over publication of the Journal of Health & Safety, do we as members of DCHAS no longer get a free subscription? When I logged onto the ACS website, I could not get access to the articles below without paying or using my "free issues". I have not received any issues in the mail since the switch.
Thank you,
Nickie Norton

Read the highlighted work from Issues 3 & 4
Dear Ralph,
ACS Chemical Health & Safety focuses on publishing high-quality safety articles of interest to scientists, engineers, environmental health and safety (EHS) professionals, and non-research personnel who manage or work in areas where chemicals are used or hazardous waste is generated. Good science is safe science - from concept to execution.
