Joe,

Our waste company ships our mercury waste to Environmental Enterprises in Cincinnati. If you can't find anywhere else to take it, you could probably send it there. BUT they don't have a good environmental track record, so I'd only use them as a last resort.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Disposal of Mercury Manometer

I inherited a lab with an old Mercury Manometer that contains metallic mercury.  This manometer was going to thrown in the trash, but I demanded the contractors not do that.

Does anyone know of a Mercury Recycling or disposal firm that could take this?
