We use Heritage Environmental Services. We have done so for years on all of our Lab Packs. They have done a great job.

Susan,
We use Clean Harbors for our annual Lab Pack needs in addition to our regular pick-ups as a LQG.
They offer many options for the removal of the waste and disposal.

Have you had further communication with the contractor about the specific chemicals and why they didnt take them? We had one chemical that needed a special permit to transport.
Our company didn't notice it on the waste list the first time and forgot the second time. It finally left with the third pickup.
I'd communicate with the contractor to see what the issues were, and if there is stuff they won't take, you'll need to find a new contractor.

I need to find additional resources for Hazardous waste removal – We are currently cleaning out labs and have had success without waste contractor coming in and
removing the waste . Recently we found a freezer that needed to have all of the chemicals removed – all treated as hazardous waste due to how long they had been in freezer and this is a lab that was forgotten . The contractor came the removal was a Highly
Hazardous situation, they removed a portion of the chemicals but left the majority. What are my options to get this cleaned up when the waste contractor in charge of removing waste picks and chooses what they want to remove.
Thanks you for any information
