So I just went through the amend process at our University. We had a permit from 1940 or so, with a very generic address (College street near Hanna). Our old science building was on College Street, at a different location. In the 70‰??s, we built a new science building, but luckily it was still located on College Street near Hanna. They licensed it like that on purpose back then, to allow for multiple buildings to be able to use the same permit. However, I think the newer system does not allow such vague information.
Recently, we closed College Street, and so our address changed to Hanna. When that happened, our permit was no longer valid. I had to go through the process of uploading our old permit on the system, and then do an amendment to change the address. Not a big deal, it was a pretty seamless process, but it did take a little bit (over a month).
I‰??m guessing if you have multiple buildings it would be wise to just have multiple permits, or to deliver to one building and then distribute in house (if that‰??s possible). Our college is small, so we can walk things to where they need to be if that‰??s an issue.
Good luck
Dave

For some reason only our chemistry building is currently listed, or biology department just moved into a new building and VWR will no longer deliver to them. Can I send in Form 5150.22 and add an additional address?
