Disclaimer: My company distributes the product I am going to mention here. However, it is a topic that has always been on my radar, and the list has seen spirited discussion about the pros/cons.
Venting of flammable storage cabinets presents a conundrum and raises issues with respect to the cabinet FM rating and NFPA 30. It would be great to ventilate the cabinets to reduce odors, prevent corrosion, and prevent employees from inhaling toxic or irritating vapors when opening the cabinet, however, venting provides air flow through a cabinet during a fire, thus defeating the operational intent of the unit.
Justrite has just announced a new cabinet vent damper designed for flammable storage cabinet systems. It features a fusible link that melts at 165 =B0F which releases a spring mechanism than closes the damper. So you get the best of both worlds - keeping odors/dangers at bay and ensuring operational integrity. You'll need two dampers per cabinet, of course, one for the intake and one for the exhaust. So the added cost may or may not be worth it for some people depending on their circumstances.
Stay safe!
