If you will be at the San Diego meeting of the ACS, you are invited to join us for the Academic Lab Safety symposium on Monday, August 26^th, in the Carlsbad room of the Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. The morning session is from 8:30-12:10, and the afternoon session is from 1:30-4:35.

 

Most of the talks in these two half-day sessions arise from the Safety Summit hosted by President Charpentier, as you can tell from the names and presenters below. We have time for discussion at the end of the morning session, and in several spots in the afternoon session. These sessions are located in CHED to reach the broader education community, but co-sponsored by CHAS and CCS to recognize the inter-divisional nature of this topic.

 

We would love to have you join us to hear more responses to the summit and to continue the conversation. In particular, if CHED is not your usual divisional “home” (perhaps more industry or business focused), this could be a great chance to interact with some different audiences and continue the collaborative communication essential to this core value.
