Damn.  Enough of those settlement and it could be a real budget item for the employers.

It supports my theory that the real heroes of occupational safety are personal injury lawyers.  The government does almost nothing because they can't.  And no one is really listening to us despite all the clever lip-flapping we do.  But relieving an employer of $10 M, that provides some real motivation.
