During 2019's International Year of the Periodic Table, CCEW will be celebrated April 21-27 with the theme, "Take Note: The Chemistry of Paper." The CCEW 2019 edition of Celebrating Chemistry and other online resources are now available.

ACS and chemical societies around the world will be celebrating throughout the year. IYPT celebrations will include contests, technical programming, themed gifts and giveaways, public engagement campaigns, and more.

The application deadline is coming up soon for the New Faculty Workshop in Pasadena, CA, June 27-29 - don't miss out! The workshop has a strong focus on how to develop and implement active learning techniques in the classroom. Other workshop subjects include integrating teaching and research, student mentoring, time management, and laboratory safety.
