Thank you, Marta!!! Some of my faculty have already posted them to our course management system and shared the link with other local schools.

Dear Ralph:
Thank you very much for promoting many of the ACS Safety Resources. I would like to take this opportunity to let the members of the community know that we have just released six safety videos for use in the high school chemistry classrooms.
The videos are aligned with the ACS Guidelines for Chemical Laboratory Safety in Secondary Schools (https://www.acs.org/content/dam/acsorg/about/governance/committees/chemicalsafety/publications/acs-secondary-safety-guidelines.pdf) and support the paradigm shift from the rules-based safety focused on protecting individuals to the risk based approach to chemical safety protecting not only individuals but also communities and ecosystems.
Please watch the videos on the new ACS Chemical Safety You Tube Channel at
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLG7h7fPoH8IZ6i2rfDK0zVoompXayRL_&disable_polymer=truesafety
Many members of the safety community contributed to these new resources for which I am very, very grateful. We will be working on Teacher Guides for these videos.
Thank you.
Marta

-----Original Message----- [Actual Sender is owner-dchas-l**At_Symbol_Here**princeton.edu] Earlier this month, the second ACS Chemical Safety Summit took place at ACS Headquarters on the topic of chemical safety education. The complete report on the Summit will be available before the upcoming national meeting in Orlando, but I would like to share one important outcome of the meeting with the Division early. I have posted a list of chemical safety education resources that was prepared for this meeting on the DCHAS web site at http://dchas.org/2019/03/11/education-resources/ These resources (there are links to more than 50) cover different chemical use scenarios, primarily in teaching and research laboratories. This list is provided as a service to the chemistry safety education community. If you know of a resource that you think should be on this list, please let us know. Thanks for your interest in Chemical Health and Safety! Membership chair --- --- ---
