Hi Luis, you care to call me directly at ospreyj**At_Symbol_Here**novatech.ca I can advise you. I was first involved with MIRAN (it was then Wilkes) in the 70's. There have been multiple evolutions in process IR since then. I have been
involved with some of them including Gasmet.

Manufactured by Thermo Scientific. Unfortunately, this instrument is going to be discontinued and service support will cease in the future. I am looking into the Gasmet DX 4040 portable chemical gas analyzer to replace the MIRAN. Does anybody have the Gasmet DX4040 in operation? Please provide feedback. How reliable is this instrument? Are there any other portable instruments to detect hazardous vapors in real time such as formaldehyde, isoflurane, xylene, benzene, phenol vapors, VOC in general? Any suggestions are appreciated. Draeger test tubes, diffusion badges are great but the accuracy is (+/-) 25%
Thanks in advance,
Luis.
