Jim, I'd like a copy of the brochure for colleges and universities, please, or the link if it's online. Thank you!

Subject: Re: [DCHAS-L] CFATS
A few years ago, LSI was contacted by Homeland Security and asked if we would help them by giving folks have a better understanding of the requirements of 6CFR27.
We invited representatives here to make a presentation and invited academic, industrial, and government organizations to come as our guests. It was a great, open presentation to a full house.
Since then, LSI has been providing information and brochures about CFAT at all of our courses. We distribute three brochures for Homeland Security: (1) Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Standard, (2) Colleges and Universities and the CFAT
standards, (3) The Role of Emergency Responders in the CFAT Standards.
We are happy to share these with anyone who would like copies. ... Jim

ACS is hosting a round-table luncheon in DC on 20 April to
familiarize Members of Congress and their staff with CFATS.
The current (2014) bill expires and must be reauthorized
this year for CFATS to continue. The round table will
feature speakers from DHS, the chemical distribution sector,
possibly ACC, and ACS. The ACS presentation will address
the differences that research and college & university
campuses present compared to manufacturing and production
facilities.
Given the security requirements which surround CFATS
facilities, I am requesting private - offline, by telephone
- conversations with any CURRENT CFATS tiered research or
college & university facility to discuss impacts, both
positive and negative, of the 2014 Act. I will hold the
content confidential but am looking for examples of impacts
I can use to personalize the story ACS will present.
If you are willing and able to discuss your experience,
please contact me by email - OFF THIS LIST SERVER - to set
up a phone call.
Thank you.
