Hey Debbie,
If you've got the ScienceDirect version, you can download all the chapters as separate PDFs into a zip file. I assume you've done that. I don't think they an option to download them as one PDF.
If you are on a Mac, you can then select multiple files to open from within Preview. This will automatically open them up all together, depending on the order they appear in the folder. You can then rearrange the thumbnails if needed and Export as PDF.
On the PC, if you have Adobe Acrobat DC, you can insert pages from different files.
