Subject: Deadline to Submit Questions for the 12/11/17 Public Meeting on Approaches for Identifying Potential Candidates for Prioritization for TSCA Risk Evaluation Extended to 11/27/17
Date: November 17, 2017 at 3:52:50 PM GMT-5

EPA is extending the deadline for submitting questions in advance of the December 11, 2017 public meeting to discuss approaches for identifying potential candidates for prioritization under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA). EPA will now accept these questions until November 27, 2017, and will respond to these questions at the meeting as time allows. EPA will still be accepting written comments in the docket until January 25, 2018.

Register to attend the meeting, submit questions, and learn more: https://www.epa.gov/assessing-and-managing-chemicals-under-tsca/meetings-and-webinars-amended-toxic-substances-control.

Background: The December 11th meeting will focus on possible approaches for identifying potential candidate chemicals for EPA's prioritization process under TSCA. As amended, TSCA required that EPA establish processes for prioritizing and evaluating risks from existing chemicals. EPA will describe and take comment on a number of possible approaches that could guide the Agency in the identification of potential candidate chemicals for prioritization.
