Why put the shaker in an incubator when you can put the incubator in a shaker?

DISCLAIMER: I am referencing my own corporate web site; other companies obviously make and sell these:

That said, the Talboys line of regular shakers are designed to be run in CO2 environments, incubators, and cold rooms from 14 to 140 =B0F, maximum 80% humidity, non-condensing.  Just one example http://www.safetyemporium.com/23021http://www.safetyemporium.com/23021  So the first thing I would do if the scientist wants to proceed with the plan is check that their model is rated for these kinds of conditions.

I have no information with respect to regulatory issues, if any.

I have a scientist who wants to put a small shaker unit into an incubator. The scientist and safety person in me are saying NO, but I would like to be able to quote something that can say no regulatory wise. If you have seen/done this, please share that information with me as well.
 
I am working on finding information on this, but there is not much out there on this kind of process.
 
Can any of you assist with this situation?
