Stephanie,

In our research labs at Dupont, all lab work at elevated temps, pressures or use of high hazard chemicals would require a lab PHR.

Hello,

Do any universities or departments have a policy that reactions over a certain pressure cannot be performed in a normal laboratory (fume hood) regardless of the pressure rating of the equipment? Of course there are different variables that come into play for different types of reactions, but was just curious if other universities set a maximum for their researchers to follow or general guidelines.

Thanks,
