Dear Colleagues,
We need your help! From October 17-31, 2017, the
Pistoia Alliance is holding a #CSLDatathon to expand the amount of content available in the
Chemical Safety Library (CSL).
The purpose of the
Chemical Safety Library (CSL) is to collect community-contributed insights regarding reactions that have gone awry in the lab with the aim of making this information freely and widely available to improve safety for all. The CSL contains hazardous reaction
and reagent information from the literature, from internal files, and from personal experience.
During #CSLDatathon, the Pistoia Alliance will tabulate all the reactions entered and approved by their curation team, and top contributors will win a $100 gift card and an acknowledgement in their
blog.
We encourage readers of this listserv to:
·
Scour the literature to find and input reaction safety information into the CSL
·
Alert your students/faculty/clients to this effort and encourage them to participate
·
Share this news with your EH&S staff
Support and training materials:
·
