Fearful of sharing lab safety data? We have some answers to help alleviate your concerns So far we have 108 hazardous reaction entries in the database, which is four times the number we started with. And over 10% contributions are coming from non-Pistoia Alliance companies. This is most encouraging, but of course we continue to strive for more. Imagine if every registered user entered just 1 reaction, we would have a database of nearly 1000 entries!
So what is the reluctance to enter information about reaction incidents? We continue to work with the community to gather those concerns so we can address them head on. Three of those concerns, embarrassment, IP concerns, and data quality, have come up repeatedly, but should not be blockers to you participating. We have put together a 1page flyer to address these concerns, to help you make your case (see below).
1 Page Flyer - Sharing Reaction Information For those still hesitant, please join us at the next ACS meeting, where we are organizing a panel discussion among legal, regulatory, EH&S experts and content providers to discuss how our community can successfully share safety incident information. For more information please contact the session organizer, Carmen Nitsche (carmen.nitsche**At_Symbol_Here**pistoiaalliance.org) |
