I would also suggest reading the hazard info on the SDS instead of the label.

From: Frances H. Crean Thank you. On Aug 26, 2017, at 12:05 PM, Harry J. Elston Frances et al.: There is no requirement for font size on reagent bottles, only that the information is present, and, sometimes not even that on the actual bottle. (There is a 2015 USDOL/OSHA interpretive letter on "Practical accommodation for the labeling of small packages..." at this URL: https://www.osha.gov/pls/oshaweb/owadisp.show_document?p_table=INTERPRETATIONS&p_id=30161 ) If the situation warrants increased eye protection, you could increase to goggles or goggles+face shield. Or, if you're like me, progressive lenses on my safety glasses. (It sucks growing old, but the alternative sucks more.) Subject: Re: [DCHAS-L] Font Size on Reagent Bottles
Dear Colleagues,
There are some chemicals that I would prefer to have a 12 inch distance between my eyes and the bottle.
I think of this as a safety problem. Is it?
