Actually, I'm not retiring, just reteading.

But, you remind me of what Earl Peters said when I told him about my consulting practice: "You're to young to be a constant".

My goal is 105.  ... I want to focus on the teaching and services for our students.

You given me an idea.  I will call later.

Best wishes. .. Jim

You are probably far too young to turn this over.  I figure at 81, sadly, I only have another 20 years to get this done.

That's why I'm teaching the art safety course at UMass.  I'm assuming I'll have to train someone.

Subject: [DCHAS-L] Preparing for an LSI Transition

Since the 1977-78 academic year, the Laboratory Safety Institute has helped 100,000 science educators and scientists to improve their lab safety programs.  As we head into our 40th year, we are preparing for a transition.  We are going to hire a new President for the organization in the next six to eighteen months.

I would like the person to be someone who is passionate about and dedicated to making health, safety and the environment integral and important parts of education, work and life.  The person needs to by an excellent teacher and a strong supporter of our organization's priorities and values.

Give me a call if you would like to chat about this opportunity.  É Jim
