The IRSST, a World Health Organization collaborating centre

IRSST, a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre

The World Health Organization (WHO), via the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), has again designated IRSST's Scientific Division as one of its collaborating centres. Renewable every four years, this status was granted to the Institute for the first time in March 2013. Since then, IRSST has provided the WHO with strategic support in fulfilling its mandate and helped it ensure the scientific validity of global health work.

2017 New Deadlines for Proposal are Available

Every year, the IRSST provides funding of $3.4 million for research projects and activities by external researchers. Funding is by project or activity, with follow-up mechanisms that promote interaction with the IRSST.

New deadlines for a Grant proposal are now available.
