Dear all,
I was wondering how you think about freezers (-18 - -40°C / -0.4 - -40°F) in the laboratory.
Do they always need to be intrinsically safe (or explosive proof interiors) if someone could (research labs) store flammables in it?
What is your experience and how are you handling with that? Do you have specific internal regulations in place? Do you check the flashpoint and vapour pressure or are you making strict rules e.g. it is required to get intrinsically safe freezers in our labs?
Have a safe day
Andreas
