Love it. Many people are allergic to lanolin. You can't win.

In a Bio class where I needed to do dissections, using gloves led to
multiple slippery surfaces between my fingers and the scalpel. The
instructor let my lab partner and I slather up with lanolin to keep the
preservative at bay instead. Worked fine.
