All:
Lab scale incidents involving the failure to recognize the reactivity of the chemistry occur with disheartening frequency. UCLA, Texas Tech and UHM are but a few of the recent, highly publicized examples. I am presenting a workshop which addresses the RECOGNITION, EVALUATION & CONTROL of highly reactive chemistry. This workshop and 2 others, one on improving your skills as a Chemical Hygiene Officer and the other on Lab Hazardous Waste will be presented on 19 or 20 August in Philadelphia.
Registration is still open and more information can be found at www.dchas.org
