I am still very impressed that the Rob's system doesn't require any changes 85%+ of the time. Fortunately, I do have to make one or two changes/day, so I feel there is a point to the human curation of the system. ;)
As Rob said, the chemistry reported by the media makes sense 80% of the time, but 20% of the time, the reports are either misinformed or speculative; I think that it's a good reminder to the professional chemical safety audience that information we want to share with the public is likely to be confused or taken out of context as it is shared by others and that we need to address ensuing problems this may create.

This ongoing effort has increased my admiration for the work the CSB does, both in terms of technical care and communication practices. If only they had the resources to do more of this work, as the EPA Inspector General recently suggested.
Thanks to everyone for the kind words about this ongoing work.
