Greetings Everyone,
I'm looking to see if anyone has developed control bands for differing levels of undergraduate work (i.e. freshman chem vs. organic, etc.). I'm trying to start a dialogue about intentionally designing safety into laboratory experiments and I'd like to start with a discussion about what materials and methods our department feels are appropriate for each of our undergraduate introductory, general and organic chemistry laboratories. We have a faculty with diverse attitudes about risk management and I thought examples of control bands could be helpful to provide some context for the discussion.
