I have both the miniRae & the Tiger from Ion Science. Both performed well from analytical standpoint. miniRae's battery (older model) did not last- maybe
they have made improvements. Lamp replacement was easy.
The Tiger is easy to use and has some good options- only downside is its sampling port- if the user is not careful, the slender screw-in port can be snapped
off if accidently hit.
