I would recommend purchasing "Definitions, Conversions and Calculation for Occupational Safety & Health Professionals". This is a CRC-Francis Taylor publication. I have the 3rd edition. It has numerous ventilation calculations of which are very useful for room purges, dilutions, etc. In the third edition Equations #4-25, #4-26 & #4-27 may give you the desired information you require.

I am looking for a good industrial hygiene resource for calculating the evaporation rates of a spilled chemical and the amount of ventilation required to keep the chemical spill below the specific chemicals OSHA PEL (ppm). Does anyone know of any good computer software programs or calculators?
