Thank you. That was very interesting. I know another seldom discussed Eastman story, not about an explosion but a waste issue. They were putting waste in ponds and kept fish there to prove their treatment worked. They didn't worry about potassium ferricyanide since it was considered insoluble and not a source of cyanide. It worked until the sun shone strongly on the pond when all the fish died. EPA did a little work on this issues and they consider all the hexacyanoferrates as environmental hazards under the cyanide rule in RCRA.
