My 60L price on helium is $900. I may also pay a large delivery fee (it's sent to us fed-ex), then we pay $1.50 or so per day to have the tank - but we are typically done in less than a week - so overall is not over $1000.

We use airgas as our vendor, and that's our Univ. quoted price. I don't know if we get to tag on Lilly's shoulders or not. We are very small, with a small budget, so our quote might be out of some sort of Indiana consortium or something, I'm not sure.

Just FYI - about 2 years ago it was in the $650 range - so I thought it went up considerably. Guess not ;)

Good luck

Dave
