One of the early fruits of the iRAMP project that was honored with the ChemLuminary award last evening is the announcement on Monday that the National Library of Medicine's PubChem database now includes data views for chemical safety information for 3178 chemicals. This data view is modeled after the Laboratory Chemical Safety Summaries described in Prudent Practices.
These chemicals were chosen because PubChem has identified sources for GHS information for them. The GHS information is from multiple authoritative sources such as ILO International Safety Cards. These sources sometimes differ in the GHS hazard ratings reported, in which case all of the various ratings are included with direct links to the source for review by the user. It is likely that additional chemicals will be added soon.
The announcement of this availability can be found at

and the splash screen for the LCSS view can be found at

Thanks for the PubChem for their help in moving this idea forward!
