Thanks, Ralph. This is excellent. Please someone make a "research lab" version of this article. (And then a "my office" version!)

I'd also like to see someone explore the use of the "Five S" methodology (used by Six Sigma pros to improve quality and efficiency) in keeping labs neat, clean and safe!

FYI, there's a good article about laboratory housekeeping (geared toward the high school laboratory, but applicable to most I've seen) athttps://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__www.teachchemistry.org_content_aact_en_periodical_issues_may-2D2015_lab-2Dcleanup-2Din-2D15-2Dminutes-2Da-2Dday.html&d=AwIDaQ&c=-dg2m7zWuuDZ0MUcV7Sdqw&r=iihZhcwD6du-FUYFV6uDCMqd0tSjseXjSW9Ehypa3No&m=EPUDJnm5k8ncvWr8Bu599uOGHUdbfaEzzf94Tpd7TCQ&s=ATKTPaSV8gLVHk6HDzkgk3lI2ZMqb650LzHY_uffOjY&e=
