Grainger has a quick guide at http://www.grainger.com/content/qt-safety-bonding-grounding-255  Typically, you use some sort of spring clamp (like used on automotive jumper cables) to connect the bonding wire to the receiving can in order to make it as easy as possible for the user.

See also http://www.ccohs.ca/oshanswers/prevention/flammable_static.html and http://static.nationwide.com/static/grounding-and-bonding-safety.pdf?r=42   The web site for that last link is rather ironic if you look closely.

Here's a Brady/Prinzing poster that my company sells: http://www.safetyemporium.com/?01586  You can also get the same one from any other Brady distributor, of course.

Hi ,
I am looking for guidance on the appropriate method for grounding and bonding metal solvent containers such as 55 gallon drums or 5 gallon cans?

Thanks
Keane
